At the beginning of April, mills offered between €10 and €35 per tonne more than during March, depending on the point of contract closure and scrap grade concerned. Demand varied considerably from region to region and during the negotiation period the over 14-day absence of Turkish importers on the export market resulted in increasing uncer-tainty on the domestic market.
