Pre-shredders are usually utilized to pre-treat shredder feedstock and thus increase the performance of downstream shredding machines, while also helping to prevent load peaks and explosions.
Small but powerful: With up to 800 HP, our EcoShred® Slimtec shredder can shred entire vehicle bodies, achieving 15-18 mt/h. Simple installation, compact design, hydraulically retractable rotor, optimal for very flexible applications.
The compact world champion: pre- and main shredder in one machine. This is the EcoShred® Compact for throughput rates of up to 40 mt/h. Thanks to the pre-shredder, even whole packages and dense scrap can be fed in and processed into shredded scrap without any problems.
The Vertec vertical shredder series is ideal for shredding electric motors and meatballs, for integration in e-scrap processing plants, and for the production of cooling scrap. The machines can shred up to 10 mt/h in size classes S to XXL.
The primary purpose of the hammer mills of the Libtec series is to liberate in order to make it easier for the downstream process steps. Whether for shredding shredder residues or for processing e-scrap: EcoShred® Libtec shredders have been proving their worth in SICON plants for many years.
Twin-shaft shredders are used for coarse pre-shredding of larger electric motors, aluminum and non-ferrous metals in general. They are also used within processing plants in cable recycling machines with our 2SS series.
Water injection? Yes, especially large shredder plants benefit from controlled water injection to bind dust and reduce visible emissions. These small compact systems can be easily integrated into existing plants and control systems!
