Since May 24, 2024, SICON has been a member of UN Global Compact Deutschland e.V. This membership represents a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainable and responsible corporate governance. The UN Global Compact was launched by the United Nations and, with over 21,000 participants from more than 160 countries, is the world’s largest initiative of its kind. UN Global Compact Germany e.V. is the German network and supports companies in implementing the ten universal principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption. Technical Research Center
The SICON Technical Center—the Test & Research Center (TRC)—has been in operation since 2018. Here, we develop and demonstrate state-of-the-art separation technologies for scrap and metal processing under real-world conditions.
At the TRC, we present our customers with a carefully curated selection of SICON machines—ranging from the flexibly adjustable air classifier to various EcoShred shredding systems and the SICON LaserSort. This allows us to test and optimize a wide variety of applications under real-world conditions and tailor them to each customer’s specific requirements.
A visit to the TRC not only offers technical insights at the highest level, but also an ideal setting: nestled in the countryside on the edge of the Rothaar Mountains and conveniently located—just 15 minutes from the highway—we combine innovation with a pleasant atmosphere.
During the test runs, our guests receive comprehensive support and expert guidance from the SICON team.
